SUZUKI WORLD RECORD DAY at Hungaroring

Magyar Suzuki Corporation hosts SUZUKI WORLD RECORD DAY on 9th June at Hungaroring where the final goal is to set a Guinness World Record. The full-day event is free and all Suzuki motorbike riders are welcome.

Market leader in new car sales in Hungary, Suzuki now tries something big with its motorbikes when the final goal is to break a Guinness World Record. With this bold venture, the company aims at involving every Suzuki motorbike owner in a collective event on the second weekend of June.

Accordingly, the true goal behind this record attempt is to gather as many Suzuki motorbike owners at the event as possible. The world record attempt starts at 1:00 PM sharp, so it is worth arriving in time in order to finish the registration process properly. All Suzuki motorbike riders participating in the record attempt will hit the Hungaroring track with a motorbike escort and drive together for at least 3.2 kilometers. This will be an extraordinary event by all means, when all Suzuki motorbikes drive down the track together for the first time in the history of Hungaroring. Participants should break the record set earlier at a Suzuki event in Belgium where 915 riders completed the 3.2 kilometers.

On the top of the Guinness record attempt, more than 900 motorbike riders can participate in a free track riding (with or without escort), while more than 500 motorbike riders can join the various driving technique trainings (organized by the Hungaroring Motorcycle Academy and the Hungarian police) during this unique event. Visitors can enjoy stunt shows, motorbike performance measurement (Mami's truck) and many other motorbike-related events and surprises.

The event will also be an exhibition of Suzuki's complete model collection, where beside the latest Suzuki motorbikes, cars like the new Suzuki Swift Sport or outboard engines will also be on display. As a real treat for true motorbike lovers, SUZUKI GSX-RR road racing motorcycle of the famous MOTOGP racer, Alex Rins will be there as well!

For more information on Suzuki's motorbike ride world record attempt, visit the event's website or Facebook page. The full-day event is free for all visitors. The owners of Suzuki motorbikes with a license plate can participate in the event and the record attempt for free. Only Suzuki motorbikes may enter the event!
