Suzuki Health Care - Magyar Suzuki opened a health centre in Esztergom

On 9 June, Magyar Suzuki inaugurated a unique health centre, where the company will provide 15 types of outpatient specialist care free of charge to its employees, in addition to various diagnostic tests.

With the Suzuki Health Care programme, Magyar Suzuki aims to provide a complex service to ensure the health of its employees. In addition to the mandatory occupational health screenings, the company currently organises annual screenings for employees over 40 years of age and those with a minimum 5 years of labour relation, as well as manager screenings. The Suzuki Health Centre takes these services to a new level. It provides 15 types of outpatient specialist care (such as dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, etc.) and various diagnostic tests (such as abdominal and neck ultrasound; stress ECG, etc.) to Suzuki employees, whether they work on the production line or in the office. The cost of the care is financed by the company.

"One of our core values is that we are a cohesive and responsible community. We care about the physical and mental health of our colleagues, so we decided to create our own health centre. This will give our employees access to a range of screenings and treatments that they might otherwise have to wait weeks or months for. We want health and the pursuit of it to become a natural part of everyday life. With the Suzuki Health Centre, we are helping to make this happen" - said Zsuzsanna Bonnár-Csonka, Head of Corporate Communications.

The service partner of the Suzuki Health Care programme is Hungária Med-M Ltd. The services of the institution are primarily available to managers and colleagues over 40 years of age who require treatment or medical attention based on their previous screening results. They will be contacted by the health care provider for details of their treatment. In the long term, the company aims to extend this possibility to all employees and to treat problems identified during the compulsory medical check-up. As part of the service, the medical team provides a customer service, a call centre and electronic contact facilities for smooth organisation. Following the opening of the Suzuki Health Centre, the company will continue to review feedback and, if required, will add further services to the list of those currently available.
