New Head of Communications at Magyar Suzuki Corporation

From late 2019 onwards, the head of Communications position at Magyar Suzuki Corporation will be fulfilled by Zsuzsanna Bonnár-Csonka. She is going to be responsible for all of the company’s corporate communications – including company branding and reputation management, press relations management, organisation of corporate communications campaigns and CSR campaigns. She will take on the role of the spokesperson and she will be responsible for the public comments, under the direct supervision of Deputy Managing Director Dr. László Urbán.

The new head of communications, having 12 years’ worth of experience working both at agencies and client companies, will be tasked with the full-scale management of the Esztergom manufacturing unit’s corporate communications activities, in order to successfully support the business aims of Magyar Suzuki.

I aim to help elevate the manufacturing company’s communications to a new level, allow all stakeholders to get to know the company better, and thus effectively promote the future success of Magyar Suzuki!”, says Zsuzsanna Bonnár-Csonka.

She started her career as a press secretary of the President of the Republic László Sólyom, and moved into corporate PR three years later, first at the agency Grayling, then at HG Media. From 2012 onwards, for almost five years she was part of the organisation team of TEDxDanubia, a prominent event of the region. At the same time, she worked for Coca Cola HBC Hungary, where she was responsible for the exterior, then the interior corporate communications. During the almost six years of working there, she lead numerous projects including Coca-Cola Ambassador, a corporate ambassador program, and Coca-Cola Testébresztő, one of the largest corporate free time sports programs of the country at the time. She also participated in launching the #énjövőm program, aiming to combat youth unemployment and promote youth labour market integration. Zsuzsanna Bonnár-Csonka earned a degree in economics at Budapest Business School, then a Master’s degree at Sopron University (formerly the University of West Hungary) in marketing and finance. In addition to her studies at home, she also leveraged her skills abroad: She earned a degree in business studies in the Netherlands and studied in Germany and Denmark. She is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
