Magyar Suzuki has been awarded the Family Friendly Workplace award

For Magyar Suzuki, its employees are its most important asset, which is why the range of benefits it offers to its employees is expanding every year to make them feel and strengthen their appreciation. One important feedback from this is that Magyar Suzuki has also been awarded the Family Friendly Workplace certification mark. The certification awarded by the Family Friendly Hungary Center is given to workplaces that help and support their employees' roles within the family.

The awarding of the certification mark is preceded by a rigorous audit, during which the Family Friendly Hungary Center examines the services and fringe benefits that employers provide to their employees. They check whether recreational opportunities are available, how much attention is paid to community protection, to health and training of employees, and what opportunities are available to support employees' families (e.g., kindergarten, or even children's camps) or health screening programs.

Among other things, Magyar Suzuki supports part-time employment for women with children under 3 years of age, and 50 places are provided in the Angyalkert kindergarten for Suzuki children during the day, in line with the two-shift working schedule from 5 am to 5 pm. The annual comprehensive health check-up is becoming increasingly popular, all staff are entitled to a free hot meal once a day, and free buses and bicycles are provided to help them get to work. Not only Suzuki worker hostel, but also more housing can be applied for 1+1 years at a reduced rate for families in need. Through the Suzuki App mobile application, an internal communication channel launched last year, active employees and employees with children can stay up to date with the latest company news.

In recent years, the Esztergom-based manufacturing company has not only increased wages, but also the range of other subsidies. Employees receive support for childbirth, marriage and funerals, and can buy Suzuki models and spare parts at lower prices from partners in the discount network, together with their immediate families. Holidays falling on weekends are compensated with time off for colleagues who work a fixed schedule.
