Locally generated electricity is helping power Magyar Suzuki: on Monday, the solar park of the Esztergom-based car manufacturer was officially inaugurated. The entire investment took nearly two years and cost 2 million EUR. As a result, the company saves nearly 270 million HUF annually and reduces its indirect CO2 emissions by more than 1700 tons. The company's own solar park is an important part of its sustainability efforts to make all products and facilities of the Suzuki Group carbon-neutral by 2050.

It has become a tradition for the Marine Division of Magyar Suzuki to join the parent company's Suzuki Clean-Up the World campaign and participate in a garbage collection together with its distributors and the boating community. This year's cleanup action took place in a cheerful atmosphere in the Danube Bend.

Suzuki formulated "Mid-Term Management Plan (April 2021 to March 2026) ~ "Sho-Sho-Kei-Tan-Bi" ~ for the 5-year beginning April 2021.

Suzuki aims at developing vehicles which are more environmentally conscious and more economic both in production and operation, keeping the principle of sustainability in mind. Besides Magyar Suzuki’s continuous optimization of its operation along these principles, Suzuki community pays special attention to collecting hazardous waste. With the collaboration of colleagues, organized waste collection has been going on for years, the results of which are always summarized on the occasion of the World Environment Day.
