The new playground of Szent Rita Home for Disabled of Komárom-Esztergom County Integrated Social Institution has been completed

The new, special playground at the Szent Rita Home for the Disabled in Esztergom, which could be realized thanks to the Christmas donation of Magyar Suzuki Corporation, was handed over.

Last December the manufacturing company in Esztergom decided to donate the amount intended for its partners’ gifts to such institutions that perform self-sacrificing work in nursing and caring for the sick and disabled people.
The company donated 4.6 million forints to the renovation of the pediatric ambulance and the operation of the internal medicine department at the Vaszary Kolos Hospital in Esztergom and donated 2.3 million forints to the Foundation of Disabled Children and Young Adults – which supports the Szent Rita Home for the Disabled of Komárom-Esztergom County Integrated Social Institution. They decided to finance a special playground from this amount that can also be used by people with disabilities.

With this support, two swing stands, including a nest swing, were created, which primarily provide recreational opportunities for minors and those in wheelchairs or who are fully reclining.
The Szent Rita Home for the Disabled of Komárom-Esztergom County Integrated Social Institution provides continuous care, development, early development, mental health care, and habilitation of moderately, severely, and cumulatively disabled people whose education and care can only be realized within an institutional framework.
Leaders of the foundation, the institution and Magyar Suzuki took part in the ceremony.
