Magyar Suzuki to launch dual training program

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Komárom-Esztergom County registered Magyar Suzuki as an accredited partner organization for dual training, so cooperation with the first selected school can start from September this year. The Esztergom-based manufacturing company will provide vocational, hands-on training for secondary school students of the János Bottyán Technical College, but it is planned that other vocational schools may also join the program.

In the dual training program, students can spend their hands-on training at Magyar Suzuki in addition to their theoretical education at school. The cooperation is a win-win situation, as students can gain the latest practical knowledge alongside the theoretical knowledge they have acquired at school. In addition, they can get an insight into the operations of the Esztergom-based manufacturing company, learn about the company culture, learn from highly qualified instructors and even get a job after finishing school. In addition Magyar Suzuki can build up a secure base of future employees. The students will receive a student remuneration and fringe benefits during the dual training. The cooperation with the János Bottyán Technical College in Esztergom will start in September 2023 with the training of electronics technicians.

"As a company that is more than 30 years old, we are currently undergoing a generational change, so it is very important that we focus on all age groups in the same way. We want to make the company attractive to young people while passing on the experience of the older generation to the next generation. Magyar Suzuki has accumulated knowledge over the decades that our students can only benefit from. At the same time, it is important that our company and the schools involved in the cooperation work together to educate a new generation that is professionally prepared and well able to adapt to changes in the world, and especially in the automotive industry. Our goal is to be the best employer in the region, and we are counting on the next generation to do the same", said Dr. Ildikó Fejesné Gyurján, Magyar Suzuki's Executive General Manager for HR, Finance and IT.
