This year, the traditional Then and Now Vehicle Expo took place on 27 and 28 April in Esztergom. In addition to the new and vintage vehicles (cars, motorbikes, bikes, buses), there were also colourful family programmes, concerts and delicious snacks for the visitors who arrived in the early summer weather. In the Suzuki tent, visitors were able to see the latest Suzuki models produced in Esztergom, as well as the company's other two product lines (motorcycles and outboard engines). Suzuki also offered a driving related personality test and a prize draw. Over two days, nearly 1100 people were invited to find out what their personality is like behind the wheel. Those who spun on the wheel of fortune could also win Suzuki gifts, with two lucky participants took home the grand prize of 1 adult and 1 children's bicycle.

The combination of past and present in one place always presents an exciting mixture; it's no coincidence that the Then and Now Vehicle Expo has been one of the biggest community events in Esztergom and its surroundings for many years. 7th time this year marks its 7th edition, and once again, the usual colorful cavalcade awaits visitors on April 27-28 at the Rugby Club event area on the Great Danube Promenade. The lantern parade will be held on April 30th on the Little Danube.

Magyar Suzuki Corporation was awarded the Lifetime Award for Significant Investor at the "Investors of the Year 2023" gala of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) last night. The accolade was accepted by Atsumi Masato, managing director of the manufacturing company based in Esztergom.

Locally generated electricity is helping power Magyar Suzuki: on Monday, the solar park of the Esztergom-based car manufacturer was officially inaugurated. The entire investment took nearly two years and cost 2 million EUR. As a result, the company saves nearly 270 million HUF annually and reduces its indirect CO2 emissions by more than 1700 tons. The company's own solar park is an important part of its sustainability efforts to make all products and facilities of the Suzuki Group carbon-neutral by 2050.

From February, MOL Limo's fleet will be expanded with the addition of a class-leading Suzuki model, the Vitara. Thanks to its dynamic hybrid drive, high seating position, spacious passenger and luggage compartments and numerous driving assistance systems, the dominant passenger car on the Hungarian streetscape will provide the perfect mobility tool for users of MOL's community car-sharing service.

4 million Suzukis in 32 years. The four-millionth car rolled off the production line at the Magyar Suzuki plant in Esztergom, an Ivory Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic colored, GLX equipped Vitara. Over the three decades of the manufacturer's history, there has been significant progress: in 1992, 970 vehicles were produced in five months, whereas today, the Esztergom plant manufactures 650 cars in a single day. In the course of 32 years, a total of seven different models have been produced in Esztergom, and the S-CROSS and Vitara vehicles manufactured here are now exported to 123 countries. 1992 – 1996 – 2002 - 2006 – 2008 - 2011 – 2014 – 2017 – 2020 - 2024

Osamu Suzuki, the former president and CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation and the Group’s current Senior Advisor, has been elected to the Motoring Hall of Fame. The Motoring Hall of Fame (MHOF), in association with the News Press and the London Motor Show, honors automotive industry professionals who have actively contributed to shaping the international car market through their work.

The DoingGood - CSR Award was held for the fourth time this year to raise awareness of the importance of social responsibility.
