Suzuki Motor Corporation has developed the world’s first* Micro-Plastic Collecting Device which can be installed on outboard motors. Marine plastic waste has become a significant environmental issue in the recent years and a huge amount of such wastes that has not been gathered correctly flow into the ocean. They are then broken down into micro-plastic under the natural environment and their impact on the ecological system is also becoming a concern.
It was the 24rd time that Hungary’s largest boat exhibition, Balaton Boat Show 2019, was organized. The early autumn exhibition attracted a large number of visitors to Balatonkenese, where numerous novelties and innovations met visitors in the harbour.

24th June 2019, Esztergom –Magyar Suzuki Corporation dominating domestic sales in Hungary for three years now. Magyar Suzuki leads the domestic automotive market confidently with 14,12% market share. The company managed to increase new passenger car registrations by 27% in Hungary, selling 19 292 cars in 2018 58% of which – 11 127 – is the Esztergom-made crowd favourite Vitara. Magyar Suzuki Corporation sold altogether 171 885 units in 123 countries in 2018, 163 291 of which (95%) were from vehicles produced in the Danube bend, the third-largest production facility of Suzuki following Japan and India; also the single manufacturing base of Suzuki in Europe. Magyar Suzuki Corporation’s total net sales revenue reached 1953,3 million EUR by the end of 2018.
