Magyar Suzuki supports noble initiative
Párkány/Štúrovo, 8 October 2008 – Within its corporate social responsibility program, Magyar Suzuki supports Štúrovo headquartered Fénysugár (Sunlight) Foundation with a significant money donation and a Suzuki vehicle. The Foundation primarily deals with health preservation but the institute also provides help to mentally and physically handicapped children.
Fénysugár (Sunlight) Foundation started its operation this year in an empty building rented from the Sturovo Municipality at a symbolic fee of 1 SK. The founders of the institution had the intention of providing health preserving, healing-rehabilitating activity as well as education, improvement of skills and spreading knowledge to the youth. The institution welcomes children at the early age of 4 but also offers valuable programs in connection with health and entertainment for their parents and elderly people.
Magyar Suzuki Corporation wishes to help the work of the Foundation providing financial support and an SX4 vehicle. ’Even though Magyar Suzuki is headquartered in Esztergom, many of our colleagues commute to the factory from here, Slovakia. We do not make any distinction our colleagues within the factory and firmly believe that such noble intentions as the work of Fénysugár Foundation, forming a bridge from one country to the other, is worthy to be supported,” said Isao Ozawa, CEO of Magyar Suzuki Corporation.
