For the fiscal year 2010 Japan production volume increased year-on-year for the first time in three fiscal years, despite the decrease in March.
Overseas production volume increased year-on-year in countries such as India, China, Indonesia and Pakistan, contributing to a record-high production volume in the fiscal year results.
Global production volume increased year-on-year, resulting in a record-high production volume in the fiscal year results.

Mini vehicles
- Overall unit sales of mini vehicles in Japan decreased year-on-year for the fifth consecutive fiscal year.
- Suzuki’s share of Japan’s mini-vehicle market was 32.0% (0.7 point down year-on-year).
Non-mini vehicles (standard and small vehicles)
- Overall unit sales of non-mini vehicles increased year-on-year for the first time in three fiscal years due to the launching of the new Solio.
- Suzuki’s share of Japan’s non-mini-vehicle market was 2.3% (0.2 point up year-on-year).
Total sales volume decreased year-on-year for the fifth consecutive fiscal year.
